Roger Moisan LTCL PGCE
After studying at Trinity College of Music London, Roger Moisan pursued a successful freelance career including performances in a number of West End productions such as Les Miserables, Copacabana and Halbwelt Kultur.
Following this were a number of performances with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and various solo recitals in London and Southampton. Guest solo appearances have been made with the acclaimed Corelli Ensemble founded by the cellist Adrian Shepherd MBE. He featured on a number of BBC recordings including the contemporary opera La Malinche by the composer Paul Barker and has performed regularly with members of the London Philharmonic Orchestra under conductor David Angus.
Roger Moisan performed Haydn’s Trumpet Concerto on BBC television as part of the Saturday light entertainment series.
He is currently in demand as a trumpet player, soloist and conductor. Roger is Principal Trumpet with the London Contemporary Music Group, session player with the Central Band Royal British Legion, the Embassy Big Band, HM Queens Guards Division Association Band, The Heroes Band as well as a ‘West End’ freelancer.

In the field of education Roger has been involved in countless projects teaching brass, coaching and directing youth bands and orchestras for East Sussex Music Service and as Director of Music at St Bede’s Independent School.
Roger is an entrepreneur and has built several successful businesses including his own tuition centre Kip McGrath Purley and Freedom for Musicians (FFM Records)
